Australian Aboriginal Woomera Spear Thrower with Minimal Linear Pattern
This old Aboriginal Woomera is a relatively flat fronted piece with a very slight slope on it's backside. There are 5 repeated horizontal bands and one vertical just above a small square form comprised of 11 horizontal bands toward the right edge just above the handle. The top barb and it's sinew holder is no longer present nor is there any of the original Spinifex plant resin/sap around the pommel. There is a small area of loss at one edge of the pommel. A nice early example.
