Australian Aboriginal Mulga Wood Thin Walled Woomera Spear Thrower
This 34 1/2" long Aboriginal thin-walled deep scoop shaped Woomera still retains a lot of it's original red pigment and it's barbed top is still wrapped in sinew. The Spinifex plant resin covered pommel looks good but there is some minor loss to it. There are some small minor white paint spots in the woomera's deep front side but they don't distract from the large spear thrower. The thin wooden walls look great but there is a minor shallow rim chip at the the right side about halfway up. An outstanding example with wonderful tool marks along the handle just above the pommel.
