Australian Aboriginal Carved Baobab Nut Kimberley West Australia
This 9 1/4" long Aboriginal carved Baobab Nut is from Kimberley, West Australia. The scratched in animal designs cover the exterior of the blackened surface of the nut. There are some stress cracks from the piece drying which run through both sea creatures as well as between the snake and turtle. A fine example of Australian Aboriginal art.
